The hôtel Le Savoie is made up of 25 rooms, of which 11 are multi-purpose suites, adaptable to the requirements of your trip.
The rooms are from the 2nd to the 6th floor of the hotel and will delight you as much with their atmosphere as with their unique mountains views.
With very spacious surface areas in the rooms and suites, the Savoie Hotel has revolutionised the dimensions of mountain living areas, particularly in Val d’Isère, making its mark in a new way of living holidays on the summits !
The 90m2 family suites are very popular because they boast that unique and generous space that can be expected from a five star hotel. An enormous living room with a private and elegant vibe, a south-facing bedroom and a north-facing one, several bathrooms with bathtubs, XXL shower, magnificent views of the village or even of the mountains from the fifth floor, plus mezzanines allowing everyone to have a bit of privacy.
And for those who wish to follow in the footsteps of Queen Juliana, to unite the best of the best and to live out luxury in all its glory, there is nothing for it but to go for the Royal Suite (180m2) on the top floor : 3 bedrooms, sublime and spacious living rooms, a visible roof structure and an unobstructed view of the mountains will make your stay in Val d’Isère completely unforgettable.
The Hôtel Le Savoie wants to offer Val d’Isère a taste of the essential, in a truly convivial mountain atmosphere where time is aplenty, by skilfully putting to the test historical French cuisine savoir-faire.
Archly christened the « Grain of Salt », referring to the original nature of its menu, the Savoy’s gastronomic restaurant has a large range of excellent classic dishes, revamped by the talented Alexandre Fabris. This young maestro, brought up in the purest Bourguignon gastronomic tradition and passionate about real cooking and good products, displays an amazing virtuosity in both his unexpected and personal interpretations of classic dishes of French cuisine and in his own original inventions.
In addition, the best wine specialists and a sommelier will suggest the perfect match for your dish, with suggestions that may sometimes shake up certain clichés and lay the way for some interesting discoveries.
In the early evenings, as the sun sets and the lights of Val d’Isère start to twinkle, the bar du Savoie converts itself into a Bar à Champagne. Amongst its essential Champagne hallmarks (Dom Pérignon, Cristal Roederer, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Laurent Perrier, Moët & Chandon etc.), Alexandre Giraud invites you to discover exclusively in Val d’Isère some Champagnes from small vineyards, which give the big ones something to reckon with.
The Why Not, Hôtel Le Savoie’s wine bar, asserted itself from its opening as one of the top spots of Val d’Isère with a sunny terrace that can be extremely popular at lunch time and for brilliant evenings amongst friends. At midday, it offers a simple and delicious menu, and in the evening a gorgeous selection of tapas and excellent selected wines served by the glass are waiting for you.
Totally devoted to well being, calm and harmony, the Spa by Payot at the Hôtel Le Savoie invites you to sit back and reenergize in a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere.
Thanks to well-cared-for equipment, a Zen decor, a counter-current swimming pool, two jacuzzis, cold pool, a hammam and two saunas, the Spa by Payot offers tired city-dwellers the opportunity to travel to the next dimension of pleasure by thinking solely of their well-being. Giving priority to the relaxing vibes of bluish hues, the decor of the spa is rather original – jacuzzis surrounded by freezes made of silver leaf contrasted against a dark blue background will surely bring log cabins to mind.
Several spacious treatment rooms with filtered lighting and fitted with individual showers are conducive to moments of total relaxation and well being: body treatments made to measure (moulding, gumming, wrapping) will allow you to invigorate, harmonise and if necessary eliminate. As for the facials, which range from basic treatments to extremely elaborate rituals, they include the famous moulding of 42 movements designed by the Docteur Payot.
Still striving to mix pleasure and discovery, the Savoie offers its guests oenology classes every Wednesday with Olivier Borneuf, a WSET (Wine Spirit Education Trust) certified teacher in professional training of future sommeliers and member of tasting committees for specialised magazines.
Classes can also be organised upon request and adjusted to specific themes (Bordeaux, Bourgogne, white wines, South America, grands Crus or prestige vintages etc.).
