Detail day 1
Whether you arrive at Nice station or Nice Côte d’Azur airport, you will be welcomed by your English speaking bilingual chauffeur-guide and driven in a luxurious private vehicle to your 4* Luxury Hotel Restaurant & Château, ideally situated only a few kilometres from Nice and 6km from Monaco.
Situated at the side of a hill and overlooking the sea, the Château de La Chèvre d’Or welcomes you into the heart of a medieval village, and offers its newly-weds an elegant décor, in the purest French romantic style, as well as a breathtaking view and unequalled services. In your sea-view bedroom, a bottle of champagne, an assortment of pastries and a romantic atmosphere awaits you to celebrate the start of your honeymoon.
Take time to discover the fantastic gardens of the Château de La Chèvre d’Or which offer a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. Flowers, trees and sculptures illuminate the sides of the hills in an exploding of fawn colours. It would be a travesty to ignore this perfect opportunity for contemplation, discovery and relaxation.
Coming out of your hotel, you will arrive in the picturesque alleyways of the village, which ever since the fargone era when it was inhabited by rich families, nobles and artists, has not failed to attract interest from personalities in the world of the arts, politics and show business, such as Princess Antoinette, the sister of Prince Rainier of Monaco and the lead singer from rock group U2, to name but a few.
Some of these personalities heard of the medieval town’s trademarks, its monuments (including the two guard towers at the entrance of the village, the postern and the loophole, which are listed as historic monuments), its picturesque alleyways, its restaurants and absolutely had to discover them. That was the case with President Clinton who made an impromptu visit in October 2002.
There are numerous little craft boutiques, many of which look like little caves dug out of rock, thereby provoking your curiosity.
A candlelit dinner at the 2* Michelin gastronomic restaurant "La Chèvre d’Or", one of the finest restaurants in the region, will delight you with its delicate Mediterranean flavours which will awaken your senses and provide you with an unforgettable evening.
Detail day 2
From the terrace, you will enjoy the fabulous display of the sunlight on the sea during your breakfast.
There is nothing better than a stroll to get your day off to a good start. If you are the sporty types, you can follow a lane which goes from the village to the Eze seaside. This path is named after Nietzsche, who over the course of a number of stays, found his inspiration among the olive trees, the live oaks, in the middle of untamed nature, with the Mediterranean in the background and the silhouette of the village behind above his head. He composed some pages of "Ainsi parlait Zarathoustra", that he himself referred to as "decisive".
You will better understand the emotion which took hold of him, particularly when he describes the climb towards the summit.(The climb to Nietzsche’s path from the Eze seaside takes about an hour and a half, the climb back down takes about 45 minutes. We strongly advise to wear suitable shoes.)
Of course, you could also be driven there by your chauffeur. The gentle Mediterranean below offers you the choice of a good number of sporting activities, including exploring the seabeds, or observing the whales and the dolphins.
If you would rather discover the fun of the seaside, you could opt to travel through the seaside towns of the Riviera. The choice is enormous but we propose to go for the Principality of Monaco. This attractive region, whose prestige and fame stretch way past its borders, is situated just 12 km from the Italian border.
In the heart of the City of Princes, you will be dazzled and shocked at each step you take, from the Old Town, the genuine open top museum to the unique Place du Casino.
Visit the Prince’s Palace, built in the 13th century and then modified during the Renaissance. In the Southern wing of the Prince’s Palace, the Napoleon Museum and Collection of Historic Archives of the Palace contains a rich collection of more than 1000 objects and documents on the First Empire, such as objects belonging to Napoleon I, the King of Rome’s clothes, and the religious souvenirs of Saint Helen.
On the Place du Palais, take in the exceptional view whilst heading towards the Jardins Saint Martin. Created around the 1830s, under the reign of Prince Honoré V, they surround the Oceanography Museum, on the avenue Saint Martin, another one of Monaco’s architectural marvels.
Discover the port, Monte-Carlo and its luxury hotels, the famous Casino and its parks.
Shopping lovers can window shop in the luxury Park Palace and Métropole shopping arcades, or around the Place du Casino in the heart of the famous Cercle d’Or : haute couture boutiques, antique shops … you will journey through the height of luxury.
Numerous museums, places and tourist activities contribute to the notoriety of the Principality : Art lovers will have the joy of discovering, through the roads and parks of the Principality, a genuine "open top museum", containing many sculptures by world renowned contemporary artists.
To relax at the end of your day, enjoy one of life’s purest and simplest pleasures. Opposite the Reserve under the Larvotto marine, dive into the Mediterranean, as it glistens under the beautiful Côte d'Azur sunshine.
In the evening, if you wish, we can reserve a table for you at a traditional French restaurant or any other restaurant of your choice.

From the Place Victoria, a listed site (it was named after a visit by Queen Victoria on the 19th April 1891), the panorama is amazing, with an incredible view of the Mediterranean.
You will love the charm and authenticity of Biot, a village known all over the world for its traditional bubble-glass. You will discover the workshops and the gallery of a glassblower who will welcome you and explain the secrets of his trade.
You can also visit the many Provincial pottery workshops aswell as artist’s and sculptor’s workshops.
But Biot is also known for its residents, such as the painter Fernand Léger, whose work is on display at the Fernand Léger museum.
