Welcome to Bordeaux, the capital of wine. Whether you arrive at Bordeaux-Mérignac airport or by TGV to Bordeaux station, you will be welcomed by our English speaking bilingual chauffeur guide.
On board a luxury private vehicle, you will be taken VIP to your Luxury 4* Hotel, situated just 20 minutes from Bordeaux, right in the Heart of the vineyards of the Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a very famous Bordeaux "Grand Cru Classé".
Your hosts will offer you a warm welcome over cocktails, after which you will be driven to the famous inn, the "Table du Lavoir", rebuilt in the style of last century, the era when grape-pickers came to do their laundry there. In this typical setting, you can taste products from the region, expertly put together by the chef Franck Salein, who has made it one of the unmissable restaurants in Bordeaux.
After lunch, relax in the Turkish Baths and the heated swimming pool and put yourself in the expert hands of the vino-therapists at the Caudalie Spa. The 3 treatments we have selected allow you to rediscover your skin’s energy and glow.
OUR RECOMMENDATION: for a top-class massage, opt for the Vigneron Massage, a Caudalie signature which retraces all the ritual stages of winemaking, alternating bare hand movements and pressure on the energy networks.
Not one section of your skin is forgotten, the whole body is stimulated, from the tips of your fingers to the tips of your toes.

At the end of the afternoon, make the most of the extraordinary location of your hotel by visiting the famous Smith Haut Lafitte Château, a "Grand Cru Classé" of Graves appellation, situated 200m from the hotel.
The landowners will take great pleasure in sharing their passion for their estate and the high quality wine that they produce there with you, as well as teaching you how to taste it.

You can choose whether to dine at your hotel or try one of the remarkable French gastronomic restaurants that we will recommend to you.

Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Then make the most of the elegant atmosphere of the Caudalie Spa and enjoy 15 minutes of relaxation in the hydro-massage bath.
Trust our selection and opt for a relaxing, foaming Barrel Bath, enriched with the alcohol from grape skins and detoxifying essential oils, and a head massage.
Then let yourself be pampered by our vino-therapists who will offer you the very gentle Honey and Wine Wrap treatment, which consists of a hot application of wine yeast and honey to hydrate the skin while strengthening your immune system. They will also offer you the Merlot Wrap with a base of hot bentonite clay and essential oils.

Between each treatment, as many fresh grapes and 100% biological Caudalie herbal tea as you want will be offered to you in the relaxation room. Make the most of your free access to the thermal bath with jet-stream, and the Turkish bath.
You will finish this relaxation morning with a relaxing Pulp Friction Facial Treatment, with a base of fresh grapes and essential oils, or you could opt for the relaxing Intoxicating Treatment with a base of grape seed oil.
You can choose between a lunch in your hotel’s very own gastronomic restaurant or in a reputable gastronomic restaurant which we will reserve for you.

Your lunch will be followed by a guided visit of the exceptional sites and monuments in Bordeaux which is now listed as UNESCO World Heritage. There is the exceptional site of the Place de la Bourse, with the monumental 18th century architecture that makes up the Hotel des Fermes and the Hotel de la Bourse on either side of a central pavilion.
Opposite, "the biggest mirror in the world" has been built recently, on a 5850 m² esplanade, whose 3450 m² central part, produces a mirror effect and a hazy effect in turn. You can stroll there as you like throughout your walk through the town centre, which allows you to discover the many luxury boutiques in the top brands area, known as "Triangle d’Or" (Golden Triangle) or the gallery in Bordeaux’s Grand Hotel. You also have the opportunity for a VIP visit of the Grand Théâtre, a true 18th century masterpiece and the Saint André Cathedral, built from the 12th century onwards.

When evening comes, you can choose to dine at the gastronomic restaurant within your hotel or try one of the remarkable French (or food from many other countries) gastronomies that we will recommend you.

After breakfast, another morning dedicated to your well-being commences.
You may be tempted by a detoxifying Red Wine Bath enriched with detoxifying essential oils, personalised to create the desired effect, from the most relaxing to the most tonic, and finished off with a head massage.
Or you may opt for a wonderful exfoliating Grape Skin Bath enriched with detoxifying essential oils followed by a relaxing treatment.
Today, treat yourself to an Energy Wrap, with a base of hot bentonite clay, grape extract (seeds, skin, stalk), grape seed oil and an energising phytoaromatic cocktail which will revitalise the whole of your body. Not to be missed!

After lunch, you are invited to visit a famous and wonderfully elegant First "Grand Cru Classé" Château, whose wines have been famous since the 18th century. In this most modern Pessac-Leognan appellation château, you will be surprised by its barrel storehouse, installed 6 metres underground, with the ability to hold up to 1300 barrels, in which the wine is matured over 18 months up until it is put in a bottle. The Château also possesses an integrated cooperage, which produces more than 400 barrels per year.
You will taste their red and white wines, both of which are viewed as top class.

You will then have the privilege of being welcomed into one of the "Premier Grands Cru Classé" storehouses, in a château with remarkable architecture which has belonged to the same family since 1956. You will learn to recognise their wines, made according to ancient and traditional methods, and discover the characteristics of their land, which give the wines very distinctive qualities. There are strong reds with a deep, intense bright crimson colour and delicate whites, usually a green-yellow colour, due to the fact they mature in an oak barrel, according to Bordeaux tradition.

Depending on how many of you there are, we can organise a lunch or dinner at the gorgeous Château. We can also reserve a table at one of the best restaurants in the region for you.

After breakfast, you can enjoy relaxing in the hotel’s facilities for the last time.
