Detail day 1

Bordeaux, worldwide capital of wine, invites you to enjoy an unforgettable experience. Whether you arrive at Bordeaux Mérignac airport or by TGV to Bordeaux Saint Jean station, our English speaking bilingual chauffeur will be waiting for you to board a luxury private vehicle, which will take you to your Château-Hôtel, situated right in the heart of the vineyards, at the edge of Bordeaux.
Luxury, calm and romance await you in this superb 19th century building, with a beautiful view of the Garonne from the terrace and the lounges.
From your arrival, allow yourself to be swept up in the warmth of this family hotel and make the most of its fantastic comforts.

Detail day 2

Get your day off to a good start by taking time to enjoy your generous breakfast before heading to the winemaking area situated at the edge of Bordeaux, where you will enjoy, over the course of a day, a unique experience, by participating in a harvest unlike any other.
During this period of intense work, 2 passionate landowners invite you to discover another dimension to the world of wine, in a simple and authentic atmosphere. Find out the secrets of their world through dynamic and passionate workshops.

The morning will be spent entirely in the vineyard where you will learn how to taste the berries before participating in the grape harvest, armed with your scissors. You will follow the journey from the grape to the cellar, as well as the sorting of the grapes and the analysis.

A winemaker’s lunch will be served on the premises and you will then discover, upon arrival at a second winemaking domain, how the winemaking process of red wines is carried out : fermentation of skins, soaking, fermentation, blending (to learn more about the vocabulary concerning wine, read our article "Wines : the French reference", accessible from the home page) .
You will be introduced to "must-tasting" (the juice of an unfermented grape) and then from a bottle of wine from the estate.

In the evening you will dine in a famous restaurant in Bordeaux, which we will reserve at your request.

Detail day 3

After breakfast, you chauffeur will take you to the edge of Bordeaux to discover the Pessac Léognan appellation's vineyards, which produce red and white wines on over 1400 hectares. Visitors admire the beauty of many of the appellation Châteaux and some are classed as Historic Monuments.

You will have the privilege of being welcomed into the storehouses of a Grands Cru Classé of Graves Appellation, in the family since 1929. The estate, of which only the tower survives, was built in the 12th century by the Montesquieu ancestors, before entering into the family and being approved by the 1929 red vintage, served at Buckingham Palace in 1936.

In the heart of another legendary domain, also a Premier Grand Cru Classé, a sommellier will introduced you to vertical winetasting, which involves several vintages of a top wine, as well as wine service and decantation.
You will then visit the vineyard which stretches over 30 hectares, as well as the century old vines, before heading to winemaking storehouses.
The visit will be followed by an apperitif and an elegant lunch in a dining room of the Château, during which you can taste 3 of the estate’s wines.

After lunch, you will head to another Château, also a Grand Cru Classé of Graves appellation, built in the 14th century with remarkable architecture and present in the family since 1956. You will learn to recognise their red and white wines, developed according to ancient and traditional methods, and you will discover the characteristics of their territories, which give the wines their distinctive qualities.

In the evening, we will reserve a table for you in one of the best restaurants in the region.
