For your dream Provencal trip, we have chosen this superbly chic farmhouse positioned strategically in the Alpilles in Provence, just a few minutes from the picturesque village of Saint Rémy de Provence, a stone's throw away from the magnificent hilltop villages of the Lubéron and the famous Cavaillon market.
The Alpilles is the traditional backcountry to the South of Avignon made up of small mountains and valleys, a landscape lined with vineyards and olive groves. This is the land of regional writers like Alphonse Daudet and Frédéric Mistral and it has also inspired some of the major artists like Van Gogh who painted his most famous masterpieces in Saint-Rémy (Sunflowers, Cyprus trees).
The Alpilles are also home to a rich protected ornithological reserve (rare eagles, vultures, horned owls etc.) and combine the whole palette of Provencal perfumes : thyme, rosemary, lavender, juniper and sage.
If you choose to stay at this Mas, you're choosing special holidays in the heart of a wonderfully maintained 3000m² park lined with trees and flowers, which surrounds the house. You will also have the unique use of a 12 by 6 metre swimming pool protected by an alarm for families with young children. The pool is surrounded by a large terrace bathed in warm sun plus a sloping roof that will prove itself very useful in the hottest hours of the day with its garden furniture and changing room.
An apéritif gathered together on the large terrace is not to be missed. This terrace offers two eating areas : the first under an extremely refreshing climbing vine and the second in the shade of an enormous Plane tree with chairs and tables for about 20 people. A gas barbecue is also available.

1) So that you’ll be able to admire the unique spectacle of the lavender fields in bloom, keep in mind that lavenders blossom from mid June till the end of July or mid-August depending on the year! From mid-july to mid-august or end of august, you are in the heart of the distillation process, so don't miss to be at the good place at the good time!
2) A car is absolutely necessary to visit Provence. We provide your rental car upon request at special rates.
