Created in the 60's, Les Menuires resort offers you four decades of mountain-styled architecture. With a quest of authenticity and integration with the surroundings, the last constructions were of more contemporary architecture, inspired directly from Savoie architecture, integrating stone, wood and slate.
Lessons & Ski Guiding
Reserve your Alpine skiing lessons for beginners as well as competitive skiers as well as for snowboarding, freestyle skiing, Telemark skiing, snow-skating, carving, and cross-country skiing at the Menuires ESF at www.esf-lesmenuires.com
A specialized instructor can also accompany you in cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the powder, in the middle of breath-taking landscapes. Non-skiers can also enjoy snowshoeing very easily since it doesn't require much technique nor particular phsycial conditions.

Les Menuires is one of the only resorts along with Val Thorens to be considered a Family Plus resort. It's a toddler's paradise as children as young as 3 months can take part in activities, Kids Clubs, ski lessons and courses. Everything has been planned to give a special welcome to families.
We take care of finding you an experienced nanny who can speak the language of your choice. We'll gladly organize sports activities as well as cultural indoor (fun hands-on activities, reading, singing,...) and outdoor activities (sledding, tobogganing,...) for your children of 3 months to 5 years old, a half-day or full-day. |

Ski lessons
The Menuires ESF instructors will
be conducting private and small group lessons for children 3 and older in
numerous languages and will also
be conducting full day training sessions :
- Children ages 4 to 5 can
attend group 6 and a half day ski
lessons at the Piou Piou Club de la Croisette and Les Bruyères. The
kids can be tested for their Flocon
or Etoile d'Or.
- Alpine Group Lessons for
beginners to experts for children 6
and above. Snowboarding training sessions and private lessons for kids 8 and older for a half or full day.
Piou Piou Training : 6 full days of activities are available for children aged 3 to 4 for an introduction to skiing and mountain sports (snowshoes, ballads, tobogganing, and snow games).
Snowballs Course
From 3 to 5 year olds : 2 hours of
ski lessons plus sledding, snow
games, snowshoeing, walks, and
snacks (naps are also an option).
Test preparation for Piou-Piou and
Ourson.

Activities
The Piou-Piou Village The Croisette and Les Bruyères welcomes children from 3 months to 5 years old to participate in various activities suited just for their age : introduction to snowshoeing, tobogganing, etc.. Lastly, the Village is equipped with a lot of educational equipment (moving walkways, small ski tows, slopes of different levels) offering the most ideal conditions for learning to ski.
Introduction to snow scooters : For kids 6 to 12 there's a safe circuit in Reberty Village to try out. Snow-mobile circuit quad bikes and buggies : Altana Bike Company has a circuit of 1800 m2 dedicated for buggies, quads or snow mobiles for kids from 4 and older if accompanied by an adult. Special pass for children and beginners : A special beginner's pass gives beginners and children access to 11 ski lifts. |
